There are many html elements. <div> is the most important elements of the html. It is very useful element in a html document.Now we learn where use <div> element in html document in web tutorials.

1. The HTML <div> element is a block level element who can be used  as a container for grouping the other HTML elements, documents.

2. The <div> element has no define   meaning,  because it is a block level element, the browser will displayed  a line break before and after it.

3. When used together with CSS, the <div> element can be used to set style attributes to large blocks of content in html document .

4. Another common the <div> element use  for document layout. It replaces the "old way" of defining layout of the using  tables. Using <table> elements for layout is not the correct use of <table>. The purpose of the <table> element is to display tabular data.
